Track Etiquette for Karting-XperKart

Speed Race Driving Leisurely Fun Vehicle Car Race

First, drivers need to be aware of all areas of the course at all times. There are many cars in the race and accidents are frequent, so it is important to constantly scan the course to gather information. Failure to do so indicates that you are not ready to race and may endanger others.

Flag signs are a must to familiarize yourself with:

Yellow flag waving - unsafe conditions ahead, do not overtake until you see the green flag, be prepared to slow down and change lanes.

Yellow and orange vertical striped flag - the track ahead is slippery, or there are foreign objects, etc., usually appearing at the same time as the yellow flag.

Green flag waving - the track is normal, start the race/resume the race.

Red flag waving - track closed, all cars drive back to the closed area. However, if the red flag is waved during the race, all drivers should stop in the grid on the starting straight on the next lap and should not get out of their cars to wait for further instructions from the race committee.

Blue Flag Waving - The referee points to a car that will be lapped, that driver shall slow down to allow the following car to pass, if that car is on the straight, no lane change only slowing down.

White Flag - Indicates that there are slow moving cars on the track.

Blue-Red Diagonal Flag - Same as the Blue Flag, but usually only shown in the final, that driver needs to return to the pits on this lap/next lap at the same time.

Black and White Diagonal Flag - The referee points to a driver and shows that driver's race number to warn that driver of unsportsmanlike conduct.

Black Flag Presentation - The referee points to a driver and also shows the driver's race number, the driver must return to the pits immediately and then report to the race committee.

Black Flag + Orange Circle - The referee points to a driver and shows the driver's race number, which means that the driver's car has broken down. The driver must return to the pit lane within 3 laps and can continue the race after the problem is solved.

Black and white checkered flag - the race is over. When you see this flag, slow down and drive one lap around the track and return to the pit area, otherwise the result will be canceled. (Some tracks may have the pit entrance after turn 1, if this is the case, please check with the race committee)
